I hope you are enjoying California’s Fall weather. I want to share a few upcoming events in La Verne with you.
First, the La Verne Chamber of Commerce is hosting “Taste of La Verne,” October 16, 2019. Advanced tickets are $45 each. Tickets sold at the event will be $60. This event will be held at Brackett Field, 1913 Mc Kinley Ave. La Verne, CA. Call the Chamber at 909-593-5265 for tickets and more information.
Next, Churchill Mortgage, Mike Hardy and Rick Mount will be hosting Networking for a Cause at Chase’s Restaurant in La Verne (Bonita and D Street) October 23. The Cause being supported will be the Bonita High School ASB Kirk Johnson Memorial Scholarship. Kirk started this scholarship in 2015 before he passed away. The scholarship awards $1,500 each for two outstanding student athletes from Bonita High School. Bring your business cards, meet local businesspeople, and help support the scholarship with a donation.
Finally, Downtown Merchants’ annual Trick or Treat for young children on Halloween, October 31, 2019 from approx. 3:00 – 6:00 pm. This is always a fun time to see the youngsters in costume. Don’t forget to stop by KBJ Real Estate Inc. office and say hello while you are downtown. As always, I appreciate all referrals if you know of someone looking to purchase or sale their home.
